Good evening y’all. Today, we continue our study on Deuteronomy. We are in chapter 3.

“Do not be afraid of the nations there, for the Lord your God will fight for you. (NLT)

“So don’t be afraid! Wherever you go, the Lord will fight on your side and help you destroy your enemies”. (CEVUS)

“Don’t be afraid of them. God, your God—he’s fighting for you”. (MSG)

God is a mighty warrior; great in battle. He has never lost a battle before 🙂

No matter what situation or challenge we find ourselves today, the truth is, our God is fighting for us and will surely deliver us. There is no battle too strong for Him. Exodus 15: 3 says: “The LORD is a warrior; Yahweh is his name!”

Its time to stop fretting, rather let’s learn to rest in His love knowing He is more than able.

Zephaniah 3: 17 says: The Lord your God wins victory after victory and is always with you. He celebrates and sings because of you, and he will refresh your life with his love.” (CEVUS)

Heb 13: 6 says: “So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me? (NLT)

God has got our back. Our victory is assured 🙂 Hallelujah!!!

Good evening y’all. Today we are in chapter 2 of Deuteronomy.

This chapter met my need today. I have been fighting some battles lately and reading about how God helped the Israelites gave me so much comfort and hope that God is working on my behalf as well. Though it seems to me, that it’s taking longer than I want, but I’m comforted most especially by verse 7 of this chapter. Truly it has been God who has kept me through the battle and not allowed the enemy overcome me.

“For the Lord your God has blessed you in everything you have done. He has watched your every step through this great wilderness. During these forty years, the Lord your God has been with you, and you have lacked nothing.”’ (Deuteronomy 2:7 NLT)

There is no battle too great that God can’t deliver us from. He helped the Israelites to conquer great nations.

“We conquered everything from Aroer to Gilead—from the edge of the Arnon River Valley, and including all the cities in the valley. Not one city was too strong for us, for the Lord our God gave all of them to us”.(Deut 2: 36 TLB)

He even promised to make people terrified of them….

“Beginning today I will make people throughout the earth terrified because of you. When they hear reports about you, they will tremble with dread and fear.’” (Deuteronomy 2:25 NLT)

When God is on your side and you on His side, there is nothing that you both can’t conquer. Mountains suddenly become small. Longstanding issues begin to disappear and give way to the greatness of God. Things begin to work in your favour….

Let’s hold on to God and His promises for us. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. If He did it for the Israelites, He can do it for us as well.
