Good day everyone and welcome to another day of blogging 😊
Today we look at chapter 11 and I’ll be focusing on verse 14.

[14] Without good direction, people lose their way; the more wise counsel you follow, the better your chances.(Proverbs 11:14 MSG)
No one is an island, and no one has all the answers. The above scripture reminds us that without good direction, we lose our way. Pride whispers, “I know enough. I don’t need anyone.” But that voice is a trap. Even the wisest among us need guidance — and the safest hands to lead us are God’s.
God is the ultimate Navigator. His track record is flawless. Remember the children of Israel? He led them through a barren wilderness, step by step, into the promised land. As long as they followed His instructions, they were safe. In Psalms 32:8 we see the lord saying He will guide us and direct us in the way to go.
[8-9] I hear the Lord saying, “I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide. So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve not been before. Don’t make me tug you and pull you along. Just come with me! (Psalms 32:8-9 TPT)
And often, God guides us through people. He places the right voices in our lives at the right time. Think about Jethro and Moses. Moses was a great leader, yet he was carrying a load too heavy for one man. Jethro, his father-in-law, saw the strain and offered wisdom: “Delegate. Share the load.” Moses listened — and his leadership became stronger, not weaker.
But here’s a word of caution: not every voice is a godly one. True wisdom comes only from counsel rooted in God’s Word. If you’re not sure, ask the Holy Spirit. He is faithful to confirm whether what you’ve heard aligns with Him.
So today, let’s walk humbly. Let’s stay teachable. Let’s allow God — and the people He sends — to guide us because with Him directing the path, we will never be lost.
Thanks for joining me on this journey.
