Good day everyone, and welcome back to another journey through the book of Proverbs! 😊
Today we’re diving into Proverbs 19. This chapter is overflowing with wisdom, but I’ll be focusing on verses 2, 3, 11, and 23.

“The best way to live is with revelation-knowledge, for without it, you’ll grow impatient and run right into error.” (Proverbs 19:2 TPT)
Are you someone who tends to rush into decisions without fully understanding the implications? This verse reminds us that such a way of living is not wise—it opens the door to unnecessary mistakes.
The best way to live is by seeking knowledge, and that knowledge comes from God. We need to pause, spend time with Him, and seek His perspective before making choices. When we do, the chances of error are greatly reduced.
God has promised to be our guide and from my personal experience and what we see in scripture, I can’t think of any better guide than God himself who through Jesus Christ created and fashioned the whole world and everything in it for himself. Colossians 1:16 says:
“For through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see—such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him” (NLT)
God never misleads His children. The question is whether we will obey His direction or go our own way. Life without revelation is like driving blind. But thankfully, we have our “Spiritual Sat Nav”—the Holy Spirit! Just as a GPS provides real-time updates, reroutes, and warnings, the Holy Spirit is always ready to guide us into God’s perfect will—if we are willing to listen and obey.
‘But when the truth-giving Spirit comes, he will unveil the reality of every truth within you. He won’t speak on his own, but only what he hears from the Father, and he will reveal prophetically to you what is to come. ‘ (John 16:13 NLT)
“There are some people who ruin their own lives and then blame it all on God.” (Proverbs 19:3 TPT)
How true is this? And yes—I’ve been guilty of it too (eyes covered). When things fall apart, we sometimes cry out, “God, why did You let this happen?” But often, it’s not God who failed us—it’s our own disobedience or impatience that led us into trouble.
Instead of blaming Him, let’s humble ourselves, repent, and return to His ways. The beauty of God’s heart is that even when we’ve made a mess, He is ready to help us back on track.
“An understanding person demonstrates patience, for mercy means holding your tongue. When you are insulted, be quick to forgive and forget it, for you are virtuous when you overlook an offense.” (Proverbs 19:11 TPT)
This verse is pure gold! It holds so much wisdom for relationships. Patience, mercy, forgiveness, and overlooking offenses—these are the building blocks of healthy, godly connections, whether in marriage, friendships, or daily encounters.
I encourage you to sit with this verse, meditate on it, and ask the Lord to help you grow in these areas. It’s a powerful formula for lasting peace and love in our relationships.
“When you live a life of abandoned love, surrendered before the awe of God, here’s what you’ll experience: Abundant life. Continual protection. And complete satisfaction!” (Proverbs 19:23 TPT)
This verse is breathtakingly amazing. The promise is clear: when we surrender fully to God—loving Him wholeheartedly and living in awe of Him—we experience the life He intended for us. Abundance. Protection. Deep, lasting satisfaction.
True satisfaction isn’t found in possessions, achievements, or even relationships—it’s found in Him. Everything we need is in Christ.
My prayer for us today is that these verses encourage us to seek God’s wisdom, take responsibility for our choices, and walk in love and surrender to Him. In Jesus name. Amen.
Thank you for joining me today 😊 Remember, life is safest and sweetest when guided by the Holy Spirit. 🌿✨
